When brand identity becomes fragrance

Eight brands from the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) incubator explored their identities through scent in collaboration with Mane and Carré Basset. Working with a perfumer from the fragrance house, each developed an olfactory signature aligned with its own universe. In parallel, the strategy and design agency translated this identity into a broader sensory territory, extending to visual codes and bottle design.

Beyond the creative exercise, the programme positions fragrance as a tool for brand building and differentiation. By bringing together fragrance creation, strategy and design, it enabled the entrepreneurs to refine their positioning and storytelling while exploring new ways of expressing their brand identity.
