On 12 June, the Belgian multinational inaugurated in Lyon (France) its largest microbiology laboratory in the world. This 550 m² facility, dedicated to biodegradability and (eco-) toxicological testing, aims to accelerate the development of environmentally friendly solutions. Equipped with advanced capabilities and machine learning-assisted analysis methods, the site will support projects from the design phase onwards. It will increase biodegradation analysis capacity tenfold compared to 2021. Accreditation under GLP standards is expected in the second half of the year.
