Skin at the heart of interfaces

The French Society of Cosmetology (SFC) will dedicate the 20^th edition of its International Symposium to skin interactions on December 8–9, 2026, in Paris and online. Entitled ʺSkin & Interfaces: Decoding the Living Networkʺ, the event will explore new scientific approaches related to the skin ʺinteractome,ʺ viewing the skin as a living network in constant dialogue with its environment.

The program will be structured around five key themes: microbiome and tissue interfaces, the scalp-hair ecosystem, neurosciences and the skin-brain axis, biomimetics, and augmented digital interfaces. The SFC has launched a call for abstracts open until July 15, with a special spotlight on young researchers through a dedicated forum for PhD students and postdoctoral fellows.

Organized at the Pathé Alésia cinema in a hybrid format – both in person and online –, the symposium will bring together more than 200 international stakeholders from cosmetic research, industry, and innovation.
