At Cosmetic 360, Cosmetic Valley and the Université Côte d’Azur Foundation formalised a partnership around the Patrimoine Arômes, Parfums et Cosmétiques en Pays de Grasse Chair. By joining its governance, the cluster aims to connect academic expertise more directly with industry needs and extend the national reach of research carried out in Grasse.

Led by Université Côte d’Azur with several public and private partners, the Chair funds applied research projects in aromas, fragrances and cosmetics. Five initial projects have already been selected, including work on the chemical signature of Menton lemon and a white paper on aroma contaminants. Cosmetic Valley may also review selected projects through its support and labelling schemes, with the aim of facilitating their transfer to industry.
