To mark the LVMH Journées Particulières, from 16 to 18 October, Parfums Christian Dior will open the Château de La Colle Noire to the public, Christian Dior’s Provençal residence, which is normally closed to visitors. An olfactory journey will explore the connections between nature, culture and the perfumer’s craft, bringing the couturier’s floral universe into dialogue with his couture and fragrance creations.

For the first time, the Maison will present the La Colle Noire herbarium, created by botanical artist Christine Chertemps. Jasminum grandiflorum, centifolia rose, lavender, iris, narcissus and wisteria are among the plants growing on the estate that have been catalogued. The herbarium forms part of a wider Maison Dior heritage project to catalogue the botanical species found at each of the locations closely associated with its founder.
