Cosmoprof Asia builds out its fragrance offering
For its 29th edition, taking place from 10 to 12 November in Hong Kong, fragrance is becoming a fully-fledged development focus for the show. The partnership with Esxence continues through Explorer by Esxence, designed to connect Asian industry players with the brands, creative approaches and codes of international niche perfumery. This shift is now supported by a broader programme spanning olfactory culture, creation, formulation and market development. Developed with Xuelei, Scent Museum will notably explore Chinese perfumery and olfactory practices; CosmoLab, created with Xuelei, Baralan and CPL Aromas, will trace the development of a fragrance from concept to finished product; while the Fragrance Creative Workshop, developed with Centdegrés China, will highlight the role of fragrance houses and the creative process. Fragrance is thus establishing itself as a professional category in its own right within the event’s offering.
