The 19th edition of the Pierre Potier Awards, presented on 6 October at Bercy, recognised three innovations supporting sustainable development. The 8 Impact received a medal for next-generation elastomers made from used sporting goods, StrainChem for its SLIPPS solution-phase green peptide synthesis process, while GFBiochemicals won a trophy for a plant-based bio-sourced solvent. The Pierre Potier des Lycéens Award, involving nearly 8,500 students, went to Minakem for Fulvestrant Ge, a more responsible breast cancer treatment.
