Cinquième Sens strengthens its team

As it approaches its 50th anniversary, the organisation specialising in training, consulting and knowledge transfer in olfaction and perfumery is turning a new page with the arrival of Marc Jourdan-Gassin as a new partner, effective January 2026.

With more than 33 years of experience at DSM-Firmenich, where he served as VP, Fine Fragrance Experience Europe, he will take on the role of Managing Director, while Isabelle Ferrand will remain Chairwoman. This follows the merger between Cinquième Sens Paris and Cinquième Sens Inc., now united under a single entity headquartered in Paris.

The company is embarking on a new phase of development with clear ambitions: to enrich its training and support offerings, develop new educational tools, and strengthen the international reach of French olfactory culture, both in France and abroad.
