Beautyworld Dubai confirms fragrance’s growing influence
Ahead of Beautyworld Dubai, the 2026 Awards have shortlisted 85 finalists across 17 categories, assessed by an independent panel of 20 international industry professionals. The selection spans a broad spectrum of the value chain, from cosmetic and haircare products to packaging, retail and beauty technology.
Fragrance has a particularly strong presence, against a backdrop of the Gulf’s growing influence on the international fragrance scene. Assaf, Kayali and Lattafa are among the finalists for Popular Fragrance of the Year, while Adamo Parfum, Clive Christian and Oman Luxury are among those competing for Niche Fragrance of the Year. The shortlist thus brings regional players alongside international houses, reflecting the Middle East’s emergence as an increasingly influential hub for perfumery.
The 17 categories also encompass skincare, haircare, male grooming, packaging and technology innovation. The winners will be announced on 7 October 2026 at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, during Beautyworld Dubai, which takes place from 6 to 8 October at Dubai World Trade Centre.
