Art and Olfaction Awards: 2026 finalists announced

The Institute for Art and Olfaction (IAO) has announced the finalists for the 12th edition of the Art and Olfaction Awards, which recognise independent, artisan and experimental perfumery on an international scale. Entries were selected through a three-stage blind judging process involving perfumers, critics and industry professionals, with evaluation based solely on artistic and technical merit.
In the Independent category, finalists include Chinese Calligraphy and Japanese Whiskey (d’Annam), Crème de Menthe Café (Statik Olfactive), Deity (Ataraxia), Grounded Hills and Ici, le pas s’arrête (Dan Lo / Terra•T), as well as Nuit Élastique (Première Peau) and Verdant (Ilé Olomu).
The Artisan category features Aethi Opum (Maya Njie), Ambrosia (Aysha Hansen Fine Fragrances), Dandelion Butter (Clue Perfumery), Death By Vanity (Rivendare), DinoS'mores and Snippid (House of Mammoth), Eclipse (Ermetiche Fragranze), Hoàng Trà (Maison de Nguyễn), Hotteok (KST Scent) and Vanitas (LVNEA Perfume).
In the experimental category (Sadakichi Award), finalists include El Espacio Vientre (Delcy Morelos / Nadjib Achaibou), Goavve-Geabbil (Máret Ánne Sara / Nadjib Achaibou), Hang Our Gods (Regina Mamou), The Anemoia Device (Cyrus Clarke) and Three Kings (Sigrid Moses-Jacobsen).
Winners will be announced on 11 June 2026 in Athens at the Gazarte Cultural Center.
The awards are supported by a range of partners, including presenting partner Mane.
