AmphiStar secures €2.5m

The Belgian circular biosurfactant specialist has completed its third fundraising round with Sprind, securing €2.5 million. This new investment brings the total support received from the German federal agency for disruptive innovation to €6 million. AmphiStaris scaling up the industrial production of its microbial biosurfactants, derived exclusively from bio-based waste streams. With its fossil fuel- and palm oil-free solutions and backed by international partnerships (Kensing, Caldic), the company is establishingitself as a key player in circular and sustainable chemistry.
