A reparative octapeptide from Korean research

"CP-02" (sequence: CDARSDAR) is a short peptide with pro-regenerative properties that combines efficacy with controlled production costs. A study conducted by researchers at Chungnam National University (South Korea) on human dermal fibroblasts confirms its role as a biological messenger, as it was found to actively stimulate their proliferation and migration. The mechanism of action by which it acts is based on the targeted activation of cell cycle genes (CCND1, MYC) and essential growth factors (FGF2, EGF), which act as catalysts for tissue repair. Anti-inflammatory effects via IL-8 modulation were also observed, paving the way for further investigations to confirm these findings.
