German group Symrise has signed a put option agreement to acquire 100% of Floral Concept, the French supplier of natural fragrance ingredients based in Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, near Grasse. The transaction, which is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026, remains subject to the customary employee consultation process and standard closing conditions.
The acquisition will bring Floral Concept together with Maison Lautier 1795 to establish a dedicated natural ingredients hub for perfumery in the Pays de Grasse. Founded in 2002, Floral Concept develops natural extracts derived from key perfumery botanicals, including jasmine, rose, orange blossom, ambrette and blackcurrant. The combination will strengthen Symrise's capabilities in the sourcing, selection, extraction and transformation of natural raw materials for the fragrance industry.
