From 23 to 25 June 2025, eight young talents presented their final projects to a jury of industry professionals, marking the completion of several years of training at Symrise’s perfumery school. Each candidate developed an olfactory concept incorporating regulations, sustainability, or technical innovations. Their projects combined technical innovation with olfactory storytelling: Shangyun Lyu reimagined the yuzu note, while Alicia De Benito Cassadó created a fragrance database for detergents in South Africa. Others explored regulatory issues, such as Kevin Kim, with alternatives to CMR materials. The graduation ceremony was then held at Villa Kerschbaum, attended by Symrise CEO Jean-Yves Parisot and global perfumery leaders.
