Symrise completes acquisition of Floral Concept

The German group has completed the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of the French premium natural ingredients house for fine fragrance based in Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne. The company joins Symrise’s Fragrance division; financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Founded in 2002, Floral Concept specialises in the sourcing, selection and transformation of natural raw materials, including extracts of jasmine, rose, orange blossom, ambrette and blackcurrant. Together with Maison Lautier 1795, it will now form a natural ingredients cluster in the Pays de Grasse, combining upstream expertise, transformation capabilities and fragrance creation know-how.
