The German group has announced the creation of a new Care & Wellness division, integrated within its Scent & Care segment, illustrating the convergence between topical cosmetics and ingestible supplements. This entity brings together its expertise in cosmetic ingredients, health actives and biotics – a portfolio strengthened by the acquisition of Probi in 2025 – to meet growing consumer demand for healthy longevity. By adopting a ʺconnected careʺ approach, Symrise aims to break down category silos – spanning personal care, dietary supplements, biotics and animal health – in order to accelerate innovation cycles and reduce time-to-market. Led by Timothy Kenny, the division seeks to translate scientific research into ready-to-market concepts, combining proven efficacy with a compelling sensory experience. According to CEO Jean-Yves Parisot, this organisation leverages the group’s global R&D network and industrial capabilities of a group generating €4.9 bn in revenue in 2025 – with organic growth of 2.8%, improved profitability reflected in an adjusted EBITDA margin of 21.9% and cash flow of €780 m, supported by efficiency gains and the internal One Sym programme – while positioning Symrise as a key partner for brands seeking holistic and sustainable care solutions.
