On the eve of its opening, SIMPPAR is preparing to restore Grasse to the forefront of the global fragrance industry. On May 26 and 27, the International Exhibition of Raw Materials for Perfumery will once again take over the Cours Honoré-Cresp for its 19th edition, further strengthening the event’s ties with the UNESCO-listed city renowned for its perfumery heritage and expertise.

Building on the success of its first Grasse-based edition in 2024, this professional gathering, organized by the Société Française des Parfumeurs (SFP), will bring together producers, fragrance houses, perfumers and industry stakeholders from around the world. This year, 120 exhibitors from 27 countries will attend the event, including 12 newcomers from Austria, Bulgaria, China, Egypt, France, Greece, India, Latvia and Spain. Each will showcase raw materials, innovations and technical developments within individual exhibition spaces.

Reserved exclusively for industry professionals, SIMPPAR has established itself as a premier showcase for emerging olfactory trends, innovative natural ingredients and synthetic molecules, as well as the sustainability challenges reshaping the perfume sector. Beyond business meetings and networking opportunities, the programme will feature the traditional cocktail reception, a garden party hosted by the City of Grasse at Villa Fragonard, guided visits to the region’s rose fields and emblematic crops on May 28, along with complimentary access to the International Perfume Museum for all SIMPPAR badge holders.

SIMPPAR’s return to Grasse further reinforces the strategic role of the French Riviera city within the global perfume value chain. The exhibition will open on May 26 at 10 a.m. and will be officially inaugurated at 11 a.m. by Éric Meilhoc, President of the SFP, and Jérôme Viaud, Mayor of Grasse, in front of the kiosk on Cours Honoré-Cresp.
