"Regeneration" Strategy for Cosmetic Valley

The competitiveness cluster is launching its 2026 roadmap, which aims to strengthen both industrial competitiveness, innovation capacity, and the environmental impact of the sector, to support an industry that comprises 6,300 establishments, 226,000 jobs and generates €71 bn in revenue. The strategy is based on six key areas: stimulating the sector's economy, upskilling, intensifying R&D, accelerating ecological transition, consolidating European leadership, and strengthening international presence. Key initiatives for 2026 include the Cosmetic 360 trade show, which will focus on regeneration and positive impact; the publication of a white paper on artificial intelligence in cosmetics; a call for projects on bio-based functional agents; and the launch of the Maison de la Cosmétique in Chartres.
