Nouryon focuses on local innovation in Shanghai

The Dutch specialty chemicals group has opened its 14^th global innovation centre in Shanghai. At more than twice the size of the previous site, the new centre is intended to accelerate local innovation and co-development with Chinese customers. The site features eight specialised laboratories (for cosmetics, paints, agriculture, and electronics) and a customer experience centre for testing and developing market-specific formulations. It will enable rapid prototyping and performance testing, as well as the development of sustainable solutions – from low-VOC coatings to cosmetic biopolymers.
