Ahead of in-cosmetics Asia 2026, taking place in Bangkok from 3–5 November, RX has unveiled the 20 finalists for the Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Awards: ten active ingredients and ten functional ingredients. They have been selected from an Innovation Zone featuring 120 launches from the past eight months, 77% of them targeting skincare. This year’s wider innovation landscape spans skin longevity and neurocosmetics, new ingredient sources, preservation, texture optimisation and improved UV-filter dispersion.

Active finalists include BASF’s NeoHelix^™ Regenerate, Givaudan Active Beauty’s PrimalHyal^™ NeuroYouth, Naemos’ Synatis^™, Solabia’s Bloomlight^®, and Vytrus Biotech’s Ignilyte^™ and Toleroxyl^™. Functional nominees include Ashland’s effisin^™ em natural multifunctional, BASF’s Emulgade^® Verde PE, SAES Chemicals’ Coffea Regenera and Seppic’s Solagum^™ X+. Winners will be announced on 3 November by a panel of twelve independent industry experts.
