Mane strengthens its citrus fractionation capabilities

The French group has acquired Cvista, a US company based in Riverview, Florida, specialising in citrus essential oil fractions and natural essences. Founded in 2010, the company has particular expertise in the fractionation and purification of aromatic compounds present at low concentrations, enabling molecules such as valencene, decanal and nootkatone to be isolated and valorised.

Mane will build on Cvista’s teams and facilities to establish a global centre of excellence for citrus and beverages in Florida. The site brings together R&D, pilot-scale testing and production, with capabilities spanning distillation, extraction, resin-based processing and molecular distillation, as well as the development of bespoke citrus fractions.
