The French group has acquired the Belgian biotech company, which specialises in chemosensory perception mediated by olfactory, gustatory, and trigeminal receptors. This transaction allows Mane to integrate a cutting-edge platform combining receptor screening and predictive modelling. The dual aim is to deepen its scientific understanding of
how smells, tastes and sensations are perceived and to boost the performance of its proprietary technologies. This expertise will strengthen solutions for odour control and blooming (e.g., Freshplex™, Powerbloom™, and Powerlast™), as well as the Wellmotion™ programme, which focuses on fragrances and flavours that trigger targeted emotional and physiological responses.
