The cosmetics giant has issued the first call for applications for its Sustainable Innovation Accelerator. With €100 million in funding over five years, the programme aims to identify and support responsible solutions for the industry, focusing on low-carbon projects, sustainable water management, alternative ingredients, the phasing out of fossil-based plastics, circularity, and inclusive business models. In partnership with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), L'Oréal offers up to 12 months of support, including coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for pilot projects and investment to scale up innovations.
