Independent Perfumery honoured at the Golden Pear Awards

Presented in Athens on 11 June, the 2026 Art and Olfaction Awards once again highlighted the vitality of the global independent and artisan fragrance sector. In the Independent category, the Golden Pear Awards recognised Death By Vanity by Rivendare, created by David Clarke, and Aethi Opum by Maya Njie. In the Artisan category, the jury honoured Nuit Élastique by Première Peau and Ici, le pas s’arrête by TERRA•T.

The Sadakichi Award for experimental olfactory work was presented to Goavve-Geabbil (Hyundai Commission) by Máret Ánne Sara and Nadjib Achaibou, while Water Moon by Oneiros received the Newcomer Award. Meanwhile, L’Osmothèque was honoured with the Septimus Piesse Visionary Award. The next edition of these awards, dedicated to olfactory innovation, will take place in Mexico City in May 2027.
