in-cosmetics Asia explores the next directions in formulation
From 3 to 5 November in Bangkok, the Asian cosmetic ingredients show will bring together more than 770 exhibitors, with part of its programme focusing on advances that could shape the next generation of formulations. The IFSCC will identify recurring trends from more than 800 recently published scientific papers, examining their potential implications for ingredients, formulation, claims and testing methods. Topics under exploration include maintaining NAD+ levels in the context of cellular ageing and a new class of fermentation-derived pro-retinol, developed to address stability and irritation challenges. The Formulation Lab will also explore hybrid sunscreens, focusing on how to balance UV performance, stability and a lightweight sensory profile.
