Givaudan unveils a new labdanum absolute

The Swiss company's Fragrance Ingredients division is enriching its SIGNature range with the launch of Labdanum Absolute SIGNature, a natural ingredient resulting from precision engineering that transforms raw cistus extract into a highly refined labdanum absolute. Its unique, true to nature trail – a dry and persistent amber note, enhanced by woody and mineral accents – was crafted by its House of Naturals entity in Grasse. Givaudan has placed sustainability at the heart of this development with local production, European sourcing, and manual harvesting of cistus. Finally, selective cutting contributes to preserving Andalusia's cultural heritage.
