The Swiss giant has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the Brazilian company, which has been active since 2004 in creating fragrances for cosmetics, hygiene, textile, home care, and pet products. The transaction, whose amount was not disclosed, aligns with Givaudan’s 2025 strategy to strengthen its presence with local and regional clients, particularly in Latin America. Vollmens’ founders, Nestor and Rinaldo Mendes, will remain at the helm of the company. On a pro forma basis, Vollmens would have generated approximately CHF 25 million (€26.73 m) in sales in 2024. The deal is expected to be finalised in the second half of 2025.
