DSM-Firmenich explores melanosome transport

At the 2026 IFSCC Congress, the Swiss beauty ingredients specialist is presenting new research into skin tone and pigmentation control. A poster by Remo Campiche, Associate Principal Scientist, combines Niacinamide PC and Pentavitin^® and explores melanosome transport as a mechanism linked to the appearance of even skin tone.

The research forms part of Corneocare^™ 2.0, the group’s epidermal science platform, which addresses areas including sensitive skin, epidermal resilience and skin tone expression. It draws on skin biology, advanced imaging and data visualisation to develop new ingredient solutions.
