With the support of the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB), the General Commission for Sustainable Development (CGDD) and the Directorate General for Enterprise (DGE), Cosmed is launching a series of seven regional meetings dedicated to environmental challenges facing the cosmetics industry.
Rolled out across key industrial regions through Cosmed’s regional Cosmetopoles, these events will focus on topics such as ingredient sourcing, water footprint, traceability and bio-based packaging. The initiative aims to help SMEs and mid-sized companies turn ecological constraints into operational opportunities while fostering concrete sector-wide transition pathways.
Three sessions are already scheduled in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Grand Ouest and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpesregions between May and June 2026. The findings will contribute to a final report submitted to the French Ministry for the Environment at the end of the year.
