From 18 to 24 May 2026, Barcelona Olfaction Week (BOW) will transform Barcelona and its surroundings into a true sensory laboratory, where creativity, science and perfume culture converge. Led by Beauty Cluster, which brings together more than 250 companies in the sector, the event will take over 17 iconic venues – from Palau de la Música to Park Güell – offering a hybrid programme that combines professional gatherings with experiences open to the public.
On the industry side, BOW brings together key players in perfumery and cosmetics through flagship events such as Barcelona Perfume Day, the Mouillette d’Argent Awards and a summit dedicated to cosmetic ingredient regulation. Masterclasses and workshops will complement the programme, addressing topics such as branding, perception and product design.
The general public is also invited to explore the olfactory world through guided tours, immersive exhibitions and creative workshops, from the ʺBCN: Fragrances of Historyʺ route to sensory experiences in major cultural venues. Registration is required, with many activities free or offered at reduced rates.
By highlighting raw materials, sustainability and research, BOW 2026 reinforces Barcelona’s position as an international hub for olfactory innovation and serves as a prelude to the Barcelona Perfumery Congress 2027 (16–17 June 2027).
