Zinc: A strategic alliance targeting North America

Distil, a specialised, R&D-driven chemical platform, and Rubamin, an Indian zinc manufacturer with almost 40 years' experience and an annual production capacity of over 50,000 tonnes, have formed an exclusive partnership for the North American market. The agreement covers the co-development, marketing and distribution of high-performance zinc derivatives (powders, dispersions, oxides), intended for use in sun care, cosmetics and OTC products, among others. The partnership combines Rubamin’s expertise in industrial and sustainable processes, particularly recycling, with Distil’s capabilities, which bridge the gap between production and brands, with a strong focus on intellectual property and traceability.
