Third Asian award for Neolipyl®

Last July in Shanghai, Silab received the Ringier Technology Innovation Award in the Moisturising & Repairing category for its restructuring active ingredient Neolipyl®. This marks the third award won in Asia by the patented ingredient, developed to help protect the skin against dryness. Its development was based on a modelling study combining omics technologies, particularly lipidomics, with optical biopsies. This methodology enabled researchers to establish, for the first time, the lipid signature of dry epidermis. Providing moisturising, smoothing and niacinamide-like benefits for dry skin, the active ingredient can also be combined with retinol on normal skin to help reduce its undesirable side effects.
