Schwan Cosmetics moves up a gear

Despite a mixed end to 2025 for its writing instruments and outdoor divisions, and lower-than-expected growth in the global cosmetics market, the Schwan-Stabilo Group is satisfied with the performance of its beauty division. However, the company did record a slight drop in sales compared to the previous year: €369.3 million in revenue compared to €372.9 million in 2024, a 1% drop. Schwan Cosmetics anticipates moderate results for the current financial year. Tomás Espinosa, head of the division, says that the company has adapted to the shift from fast to ultra-fast beauty by accelerating development cycles, investing in key growth drivers and technologies, and tailoring concepts to regional needs. At the same time, the subsidiary has revamped its packaging platform, offering greater customisation, and has secured Platinum certification from EcoVadis.
