Groupe Rocher and Dassault Systèmes have announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming natural cosmetic formulation through virtual twin technology. This approach, combining generative AI, 3D modeling, and simulation, will make it possible to predict the effectiveness of active ingredients on the skin and optimize formulations upstream.

The goal is to significantly accelerate research and development: the group expects to reduce time-to-market for its innovations by 20%, while improving their performance. Today, around thirty laboratory tests are often needed to validate a formula – a process this technology could streamline.

This partnership reflects a broader push for scientific innovation in support of more effective, natural, and sustainable cosmetics, with an initial focus on the ice plant, known for its adaptive properties and already used in the group’s anti-aging skincare range.
