Robertet focuses on plant biotechnology

The French group has invested in Aethera Biotech, a subsidiary of the Italian family-owned group Cereal Docks – an agri-food giant – which specialises in cosmetic active ingredients derived from plant cell cultures. This move marks a first for the Grasse-based group, a world leader in natural raw materials, and forms part of its "Augmented Naturalness" strategy. Thanks to its proprietary Crop^® (Controlled Release of Optimized Plants) technology, the Italian company produces extracts independently of agricultural constraints, with a reduced environmental impact. This partnership aims to boost innovation in skin science, secure sustainable ingredients and enrich the range of cosmetic actives through Robertet’s global network.
