Cosmewax's new Industry 4.0 production site in Spain

In October, the subcontractor inaugurated its 5,100 m² smart factory in Puzol, in the province of Valencia. With 11 reactors and 5 filling lines, the factory's production capacity will increase by 94.4%. Innovation and sustainability go hand in hand here: AI, coupled with artificial vision cameras and automated control systems, detects defects in real time and helps optimise formulas. Advanced traceability technology has also been integrated, while recycling, in-house osmosis water production and photovoltaic panels have enabled Cosmewax to reduce its carbon footprint by 56.8% since 2018. The site has already obtained ISO 22716, SMETA and RSPO certifications. The manufacturer invites its partners to visit the site and discover its facilities.
