The international bio-ingredient supplier based in the Cayman Islands, has announced the creation of a joint laboratory with the Shaanxi Chang'an Pilot Life Science Industry Innovation Centre in Xi'an, China. This facility, which is due to open in December 2025,aims to accelerate R&D into natural active ingredients for functional foods and cosmetics.
The laboratory will combine fermentation biosynthesis, isolation of natural compounds and AI-driven process optimisation. The aim is to improve industrial efficiency, supply reliability and environmental performance compared to traditional plant extraction methods.
… and launches a bioelectronic mask
Bon Natural Life Limited has developed a bio-electronic mask combining a polymeric matrix enriched with bioactive compounds and an integrated micro-electrical stimulation system. This technology aims to modulate skin cell activity using low-intensity pulses, thereby promoting transdermal permeation of active ingredients, stimulating microcirculation and activating regeneration mechanisms. The bio-electronic approach optimises local bioavailability while ensuring precise control of application parameters (intensity, duration, signal distribution). Positioned at the interface between advanced dermocosmetics and medical-aesthetic devices, this mask targets the global anti-ageing market estimated at more than $100 billion (€86.2 bn), illustrating BON's integration strategy between bio-manufacturing of natural ingredients and intelligent stimulation technologies.
