Alfa Laval unveils a new generation of energy-efficient agitators

The Swedish equipment manufacturer is launching EnSaLine, an agitator platform designed to optimize energy performance while simplifying maintenance operations in hygienic production environments. This new range targets the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic sectors.

At the heart of the system, EnSaFoil impellers reduce energy consumption by up to 80% while shortening mixing times – with a return on investment typically under two years. They also ensure gentle product handling and improved final quality. The design features an interchangeable cartridge containing key components for rapid maintenance without tank entry, along with dedicated sensors for predictive maintenance. Both side-mounted and bottom-mounted versions are available.
