AI makes up for the lack of toxicology experts

Faced with a structural shortage of toxicologists, Insilica has launched ToxIndex, which is currently in the testing phase. This "agentic" AI platform generates regulatory-quality chemical safety reports in just a few hours, compared to the several months it usually takes. Drawing on more than 2,000 datasets and 300 computational tools, it automates the collection of evidence and guarantees full traceability of information, while leaving experts with full responsibility for the final decision-making.
