L’Occitane en Provence, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, is launching a programme to secure the future of shea in West Africa. Based on three pillars – value chain, governance, and forestry – SH(E)ARE (SHea Action for Regenerative Ecosystems) combines tool modernisation, local cooperation, and a forest management plan.
