TNT Group develops a compact with no structural mould required

With Dress Code, the packaging specialist for fragrance, make-up and skincare has developed a customisable compact whose cardboard core eliminates the need for a structural mould, helping to shorten development lead times. Its shape, covering and finishes can all be customised, while charms and snap hooks can turn it into an on-the-go accessory.
Inside, TNT Group has designed a mirror and magnetic base, both framed with customisable zamak rings, to accommodate a choice of removable single, double or compartmentalised pans. This modular approach makes the concept suitable for eyeshadows, blushes and multi-use colour products, as well as solid fragrances, gels and lip balms.
Two cardboard gift boxes complete the concept: the first unfolds into a display stand when opened, while the second uses a ribbon mechanism to lift the compact out of its central case, creating a pop-up effect.
