Supergoop! aims to reinvent the SPF routine

At NYSCC Suppliers’ Day 2026, Supergoop! will host a keynote focused on the evolution of sun protection toward a more seamless integration into daily skincare routines.
Scheduled for May 19 at New York’s Javits Center, the session will bring together the brand’s CEO, Melis del Rey, and Chief Innovation Officer, Akshay Talati, to discuss formulation challenges, sensoriality and user experience in SPF products.
The presentation will highlight how scientific advances and texture design are helping reshape the perception of sunscreens, long viewed as seasonal or restrictive products, into more desirable and easy-to-adopt beauty essentials for everyday use.
The keynote aligns with the show’s 2026 theme, “Breaking Beauty Boundaries with Science,” which explores the role of innovation in the evolution of cosmetic categories.
