New tool simplifies sustainable formulation

The Green Chem Finder addresses the increasing complexity of sustainable preservation systems. The platform helps formulators to keep up with innovations and select from a database of 300 ingredients those that precisely meet their requirements. Up to 20 criteria can be combined simultaneously – pH range, antimicrobial spectrum, solubility, solid form, naturality index, palm status or EU/US/China compliance – to obtain a reliable shortlist. The data, which has been carefully verified by green chemistry specialist Barbara Olioso, enables formulators to make informed choices and speed up the development of greener formulas.
