FIRN opts for a refillable stick

For its STM30® Invisible Sun Stick SPF50+, French brand FIRN has chosen the Stick ReUse developed by Cosmogen & Asquan Group. Patented, watertight and refillable, the aluminium-clad PP pack is claimed to save 56% of plastic with each refill.
Its mechanism allows the refill to be inserted into the outer casing with a simple push, while preventing it from being used independently. Its watertight design is the key technical advantage, making it suitable for both solid and hybrid formulations, rather than the anhydrous textures traditionally associated with stick formats.
Available in PP, recycled PP (r-PP) or with an aluminium outer casing, Stick ReUse can accommodate skincare, make-up and solid fragrance formulations. FIRN has selected the format for its portable sun care product featuring the brand’s biotechnology-based STM30® complex.
