Bradford acquires Solo Labs

In early September, Bradford, a solid cosmetics formulator, and manufacturer and a Gemspring Capital portfolio company, announced the acquisition of Solo Labs, an Illinois-based contract manufacturer specialising in liquid and aerosol personal care products. According to Bradford, the combination of these two companies will create "a unified manufacturing platform for solid, liquid and aerosol products." The move is intended to strengthen the company’s production capabilities and expand its range of offerings. The "combined company" will be led by Bradford's current CEO, Shaun Gaus, who is looking forward to welcoming the teams and customers of his new acquisition. Jim Jackson will remain as president. Both firms will retain their brands, enablingSolo Labs to maintain continuity for its partners while benefiting from the expertise of its new owner.
