The Los Angeles-based company, which specialises in polarisation imaging for quantifying the visual properties of hair, is launching two accessories for its Shuffle Multi platform dedicated to multi-tress testing. Bolero 360 performs a 3D reconstruction of the volume profile, enabling differentiation between the overall hair mass and flyaway fibres. Hula characterises the oscillation kinematics to objectively assess movement and hold after treatment. Integrated into a humidity-controlled system, these modules increase the throughput of multi-tress testing and improve the reproducibility of measurements for substantiating product claims.
