Beiersdorf and AAK strengthen their commitment to sustainable shea

The German giant and the Swedish vegetable oils specialist have renewed their strategic partnership in favour of a sustainable shea supply chain in West Africa. After supporting 10,500 women collectors since 2020 through the Kolo Nafaso programme, the two partners are launching a second phase focused on the sustainable management of agroforestry parklands, access to drinking water through borehole renovation, and the mechanisation of crushing to boost local incomes. This initiative combines industrial performance, biodiversity protection and direct social impact.
