The US contract manufacturer has converted its Scottsdale, Arizona facility into an FDA-registered over-the-counter (OTC) drug manufacturing site compliant with pharmaceutical current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Following its California facility, the company now has a second site dedicated to these regulated products.

The expanded capabilities cover sunscreens and SPF skincare, acne treatments, antiperspirants, anti-dandruff shampoos, antifungals, antiseptics, skin protectants and fluoride oral care products. In the US, several of these categories are regulated as OTC drugs and are therefore subject to specific manufacturing requirements.

At its Scottsdale facility, Allure Beauty Concepts provides turnkey formulation and manufacturing, as well as filling and finishing services for existing formulations. With more than 14,400 sqm of manufacturing space across California and Arizona, the company is strengthening its position in categories at the intersection of cosmetics, personal care and healthcare.
