AAK's ethical shea butter

The company has obtained FairWild certification for its Kolo Nafaso programme, a first for wild-harvested shea butter. Spanning 400,000 hectares in West Africa, the programme ensures the sustainable and legal harvesting of shea butter, benefits over230,000 female harvesters, and promotes tree regeneration and landscape protection, while guaranteeing fair incomes and improved working conditions.
